B.K.S.Iyengar and the Light on Life Tour

BKS Iyengar will be coming to the United States to promote his newest book, "Light on Life" published by Rodale Press to be released this fall.

Mr Iyengar's national promotional book tour will commence at the Yoga Journal Conference, September 26-October 2, 2005 at Estes Park , Colorado.

After the Yoga Journal Conference, events have been scheduled to coincide with the "Light on Life" book tour in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City and Washington, D.C.

Guruji To Speak at George Washington University

Washington D.C. will be the last stop on on Mr. Iyengar's
"Light on Life" book tour.

This will be a rare opportunity to show our respect for this "living legend" Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar, here in the southeastern U.S.

Tickets will be offered to Certified Iyengar teachers as the first part of a "three tier" ticketing arrangement.

First Tier: Beginning on July 22, tickets will be made available to certified Iyengar teachers only. Tickets will be limited to 2 per person.

Ticket prices: $45 Orchestra, $30 Terrace

Remaining tickets will be sold in 2 tiers:

Beginning August 13, tickets will be available to UWYC students (limit 2 /person).

Finally, on September 9, remaining tickets will be made available to the general public.

The program at Lisner has not been finalized, but will include a film portraying the life and teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar and a live question and answer session with him.

On Wednesday, October 19th, Rodale Press, publishers of Light On Life, will hold a book signing with Mr. Iyengar at a location and time still to be announced in the
Washington D.C. area.
