In Gratitude

  • "Because of my scholarship from IYASE I was able to attend the IYNAUS event with Abhijata: Toward Peace and Recovery. Yes, I took Peace and Recovery from the event, but I got a feeling I had not had in a long time: hopefulness. I would not have been able to attend this event if it had not been for the generosity of the IYASE scholarship. I am grateful."

    Leah Nichols, CIYT

  • "My IYASE scholarship to Toward Peace and Recovery IYNAUS 2022 Sadhana with Abhijata Iyengar was a blessing. I've been struggling financially as alternate care for an elderly parent, attending college to gain social work credentials, and trying to maintain my online practice. I couldn't afford Abhijata's workshop. She brings insights I know I can't get anywhere else. I am so grateful to IYASE for enabling me to attend."

  • "Over the years I have received scholarships from IYASE to cover my expenses for national conventions as well as programs with Abhijata on line. During financially challenging times i was able to attend events that I would have missed otherwise. These experiences have been nourishing and illuminative to my practice and my teaching. IYASE has always been a generous organization. I’m proud to call myself a member and I am deeply grateful."

    Tedrah Smothers, CIYT

  • "The IYASE scholarship enabled me to attend Abhijata’s workshop last year and experience her as a teacher. I appreciated having the opportunity. Thank you, IYASE."
